When playing on a specially adapted CLEAVE RIM pressure is spread evenly over your lips allowing blood to flow freely and both lips to vibrate fully.
I have played on a shaped rim since 1993 as I felt my standard mouthpiece could be improved to fit the contours of my teeth. After much
thought and experimentation I have focussed on my current design which makes playing much easier and more comfortable.
